Nine Zero One Sports Mindset was created to assist athletes with their “mental skills” to help them develop the mental skill set it takes to consistently be at their best, reach their goals, and achieve long term success. Mental skills training coupled with physical training can not only help performance on the field or in the arena, but also increase enjoyment in life.
Areas of focus include:
● Prioritizing the “process” over the “outcome”
● Implementing routines and habits of excellence
● Using of meditation and mental imagery to help prepare for competition
● “Controlling what they can control”
● Goal Setting, Motivation and Commitment in their respective sports
● Increasing self-awareness and focus and understanding “what makes them tick” as athletes and people
● Identifying and overcoming obstacles (e.g., fear of failure, risk aversion) that may be holding them back from their goals.
● Providing athletes with a “mental toolbox” they can use in their sports and lives.
